Great designs. You can tell a great character design by how it's easily recognizable even when it's just a silhouette. The screen face guy especially passes this test with flying colors.
I also like how you can clearly tell the character on the left is the very proper, organized one, meanwhile the one on the right is more relax. Even so they both seem to like carrying their stacks of paper, so I guess they are both two sides of the same coin afterall huh?

Thank you for my daily reminder that I need to properly get into scott pilgrim. I watched the
"Scott Pilgrim takes off" anime and it was pretty fun but I feel I would enjoy it more if I already knew the original story.
